Environmental consulting and advice service: We provide advisory services to the public, NGOs, schools, scientific institutions, the media, local governments and authorities. Please do not hesitate to contact us if:

• you need help in formulating petitions or requests

• you need studies and up-to-date information about background environmental issues

• you seek to make energy-saving changes in your home

• you require the dates of environmental events and programmes

• you have questions regarding environmentally-friendly gardening techniques, DIY, cleaning, etc.

Door and Window Post-insulation Programme: We joined the Green Energy Network in 2004 which aims to provide advice to Hungarian households regarding energy efficiency, thus reducing their energy consumption and waste. We mainly focus on practices that can lead to significant savings. Beyond transmitting the theoretical knowledge, we launched the Door and Window Post-insulation Programme in January 2006. Interested parties are shown the latest insulation methods and technology and are given help in acquiring the necessary tools and insulation material.

We organise capacity building training sessions for NGOs to improve their management and organisational sustainability.

We give lectures and organise activities in schools and at events relating to the environment or eco-friendly lifestyles. The subjects covered include waste management, energy efficiency, animal protection, conscious consumption, use of herbs, eco-products, etc. We work with other organisations and teachers, presenting lifestyle alternatives to young people.

In our Green Exhibition Room we display eco-friendly and fair-trade products available in Hungary. A wide range of books, magazines, leaflets and teaching aids are available as well. In co-operation with the Open Garden Foundation, we provide a delivery point for pre-ordered eco-products and organic products.
